  • Board of Governors BOGW Enrollment Fee Waiver: waives annual enrollment fees for qualified students.
  • Grants do not have to be paid back:
  • Pell Grants, awarded to low-income students
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, for low-income students with exceptional financial need
  • Cal Grants, funded by the state
  • Scholarships are awards are based upon specific qualifications, talents, or merit - often without regard to financial need.
  • Work-study students earn money toward their education through part-time jobs.
