For prior approval to develop an application for, or partner on a grant project, please email the ECC Grants Office staff with the Project Name and Funding Source. We will send you an electronic Grant Approval Form for you to complete.
The ECC Grants Office provides the campus community with a variety of services related to obtaining and managing externally funded projects awarded by federal, state or local government agencies. We provide resources and assistance to faculty, staff and administrators to foster project ideas, locate funding opportunities, strengthen grant writing and project development capability, develop proposals, and comply with applicable internal and external requirements.
Functions of the Grants Office include:
Providing information to the campus community on funding and grant partnership opportunities
Proposal and budget development
Proposal review, sign-off, and submission
Grant negotiation and acceptance
Grant start-up assistance
Guidance on post-award management to effectively implement your project
Grant close-out assistance, including final reporting
Training in various aspects of grantmanship (grant seeking, proposal writing, project management)
Assistance with compliance audits
