El Camino College Professors to Share Interviewing Skills for Job Seekers

Need to make a good impression at your next job interview? Two El Camino College professors will help job seekers during a speech 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in Marsee Auditorium.
ECC communication studies professors Diana Crossman and Rosemary Swade will discuss interviewing techniques in their presentation, “So Tell Me a Little About Yourself – How to Make a Great Impression in an Interview.” They posit that while a college degree may get someone in the door for a job interview, excellent interviewing skills will land the job.
Audience members will learn how to gain an edge in their job search and be seen as promotable during this one-hour speech that also focuses on how to answer interview questions and create rapport.
Tickets for the performance are $10-$15 and may be purchased online at centerforthearts.org using the online ticketing system, or by phone at 800-832-ARTS. The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Campus parking is $3. Marsee Auditorium is located at 16007 Crenshaw Boulevard, Torrance.
