Entering
the campus from the northeast, you pass the Natural Sciences
buildings and enter a patio that leads you south to Physics and
southwest to Math & Computer Sciences. |
|
|
From the
west end of the Math & Computer Sciences and Natural Sciences
buildings you can see the Planetarium and Shops. |
|
|
A vantage
point at the west end of the Communications Building and Shops
shows the patio shared by those buildings, the Bookstore/cafeteria,
and the Student Services Center. |
|
|
The
balcony of the Cafeteria level of the Bookstore/Cafeteria building
offers a vista of the patio below, the Student Services Center, the
North Gym, the sand volleyball courts, and the Stadium.
|
|
|
Special events
often take place in the Bookstore/Cafeteria patio. The shaded knoll
between the Student Services Center and the North Gym is a popular
meeting place for students. |

This view shows
the campus quad, located among the Student Services Center,
Humanities, the Library, Business, Music, and the Activities
Center. |
|
|
From the
southeast corner of the campus quad you can see the Library, the
Administration building, Business, and Music. |
|
|
The
Activities Center anchors the southwest corner of the Quad. Broad
sidewalks lead north to the gyms and Student Services, east to Fine
Arts and Business, south to Marsee Auditorium, and west to the
Physical Education fields. |
|
|
A view from
just a little more south of the southwest corner of the campus quad
offers a peek at the Art patio, the Activities Center, the Music
building, and Marsee Auditorium to the south. |
|
|
Marsee
Auditorium is a 2000+ seat venue used by El Camino and the entire
south bay for theater, orchestral, ballet, and operatic
performances. The smaller campus theater is just visible at the
east end of the Social Sciences building. |

Have
you ever wondered what it's like to be ON the track field, rather
than seated in the stands? |
