Eligibility: |
ECC student Completion of 6 units of real estate classes at ECC Declared major: Real Estate or Appraisal or Mortgage Brokerage Part-time or full-time student Minimum 2.2 GPA for all non-RE course work; 3.0 GPA in RE courses Completion of Scholarship Application Submission of a letter requesting the funds, outlining proposed use, and stating career goals. Citizenship not required, with proof of legal presence. |

The ECC Real Estate Scholarship screening committee will process the scholarship applicants according to the following guidelines:
- A maximum of $300 per year may be awarded per student.
- The award is intended to contribute toward the cost of real estate education expenses for fees, books, supplies and materials.
- The Financial Aid Director or Scholarship Coordinator will determine if the applicant meets the minimum eligibility criteria before submission to the selection committee.
- Only one award per student may ever be given.
