CONTINUING EDUCATION

Continuing Education (C/E) is mandated by legislation for state licensees. Both the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) and the California Office of Real Estate Appraisers (OREA) issue licenses that renew every four (4) years. Prior to license renew, the licensee is required to comply with the number of hours of C/E by listing the approved course number on the proper state approved form. The course provider furnishes the licensing agency with a list of those individuals who have received credit for course completion. The government agency matches the two to validate the licensees renewal.
