OREA Certified Residential License


Education:

Prior to January 1, 2008, a minimum of 120 hours of appraisal related education covering specific topics required by AQB, with at least 15 hours on USPAP; and, after January 1, 2008, a minimum of 300 hours of appraisal related education covering specific topics required by AQB, with at least 15 hours on USPAP.

Experience:

A minimum of 2,000 hours of acceptable appraisal experience in no fewer than 12 months.  (Note: For DRE Brokers, check with OREA to see if 1,000 of experience equivalency can be used for R. E. Brokers license and experience on Comparative Market Analysis reports)

Exam: Must pass the AQB approved residential examination.
