WELCOME TO THE FINE ARTS DIVISION
The Fine Arts Division offers academic programs in art, dance, film/video, music, photography, theater, and speech communication. Courses in these programs are intended to prepare the student for transfer to a four-year college or university or for related career options.
Courses are also designed to enlarge the cultural life of the student, the college, and the community. Other division offerings include art and photography exhibits, theater and musical theater productions, choral and instrumental ensemble concerts, solo recitals, dance concerts, speeches, debates, and special workshops–all to provide opportunities for students to develop their talents in interpretive and creative expression.
The El Camino College Center for the Arts offers a variety of public performances by nationally and internationally acclaimed performing artists. Fine Arts students are provided with the opportunity to attend certain performances and residency workshops offered by many of these artists.
