Strategies for Success in Distance Education

The goal of this course is to prepare students for taking distance education classes. This course covers the basics of taking an interactive, asynchronous distance education course via the Internet or other computer-based systems. Use of e-mail, online class interactions such as discussion groups, World Wide Web access, equipment needs and differences between online and onsite courses will be covered.
