Jenny Simon

Education: BA (Language Studies: German and Spanish), UC Santa Cruz; MA (Linguistics with an emphasis in Syntax), UC Santa Cruz;  Ed.D. (Higher Education), USC

Experience: Taught English as a Second Language and English Composition classes on a part-time basis at various colleges in the San Diego area; also taught at Glendale Community College. Taught English as a Second Language and Linguistics in West Sumatra, Indonesia for a year and a half. Has taught English as a Second Language at El Camino since 2003.

Interesting Facts:  Jenny lives in West Los Angeles with her husband.  Before coming to Los Angeles, she and her husband lived in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia for close to two years, where her husband carried out field research in Anthropology for his Ph.D.  Jenny loves to read, travel, learn about other cultures and languages (especially from her students!), and cook exotic cuisine.
