An Introduction to the Humanities

Humanities 1, Humanities through the Arts, is an introductory humanities course that views the humanities through an historical study of art, architecture, dance, music, literature and film.  This course is a distance education telecourse; it consists of 30 telelessons that serve as the course lectures.  The telelessons are available via broadcast, streaming video, and videocassette.  The purpose of the course is to encourage students to become active and knowledgeable participants with the arts and humanities.
