Biggest Event Ever!
Girls in the Garage is planning its biggest event yet: the Girls in the Garage
All-Girl Car Show & Vintage Fashion Exchange
! In honor of Women’s History Month, all women (and men) are invited to attend and see how fashion and automotive design have changed over the years. All the cars, trucks and motorcycles will be female-owned and female-driven into the event.

Free for Spectators

The car show is FREE for spectators. The event will be held rain or shine on March 15th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM in El Camino College parking lots J and K, which are between the Marsee Auditorium and Campus Police Station on the south end of campus. Spectator parking is available in all other campus lots for $3. Spectators are encouraged to pick a decade and join in the vintage theme fun!

Fashion Fabulousness - For Sale!

The challenge for those bringing cars is to dress like the year of their car. Cars already registered cover decades from the 1930s to the 1980s - this should be a fun and photogenic event! Music at the event will also follow these decades for a real blast from the past.

Bring Your Car - Any Car

All female-owned (or co-owned) and driven vehicles are welcome from rat rods to drift racers, minivans to motorcycles, dented up grocery getters to trophy winners. Of course the challenge is to dress like the year of your car, but you can pick any year you like including 2014. Feel free to dress up your car as well - you know it has a personality, let it shine!

There will be trophies for the Coolest Car, Best Bike, Best Outfit, and Best Vehicle/Outfit Combo, as well as a special prize, The Girls in the Garage Pink Wrench Award, given to the woman who has personally done the most maintenance and/or customization to her own car. Make sure to cast your votes for the winners.

Cost to register a vehicle is $10. Download the Vehicle Registration Form (pdf) here for more information and to enter your vehicle in the show. All proceeds will go to Girls in the Garage workshops.
