El Camino College -is one of the largest community college campuses in California with over 25,000 students. The college is located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, in close proximity to Los Angeles International Airport and the manufacturing facilities of Northrop Grumman, Boeing. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and approximately 400 suppliers of manufactured parts for aerospace prime manufacturers.

Butler Community College - with more than 13,000 students, is the second largest community college in the state of Kansas. The college has five centers and serves the aerospace manufacturing industry in Wichita and the greater Midwest.

Purdue University – has a decades long reputation for preparing technologists and engineers for careers in manufacturing. The College of Technology has a strong reputation for its academic excellence and is the largest technology school in the nation, offering associate, bachelors, masters, and doctoral programs. The college is uniquely positioned to contribute to this project through a variety of expertise found across several departments that closely align to the objectives of this proposal, including Computer Integrated Manufacturing Technology and a program in Aviation Technology.

Oregon Institute of Technology - offers undergraduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology, and health technology areas. The Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology Department has over 300 students enrolled at three separate campuses, and offers the Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Manufacturing Engineering Technology, as well as the Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. In addition to the main campus in Klamath Falls, OIT has two campuses in the Portland area and one in Seattle, Washington. A unique feature of the program is that the campus is located on the Boeing Company's aircraft plant site and exclusively services Seattle Boeing employees.
