QUALITY ASSURANCE

The Quality Assurance program at El Camino College is designed to give students professional training in order to pursue a successful career in the quality assurance and reliability field. Those already employed in a quality assurance position will benefit from the program by increasing their education and training.

Students will learn the fundamentals of quality assurance, for work in a variety of industries. After completing the program, students will be prepared to work as a member of a quality assurance team, or work as a consultant for a variety of clients.

Instructors constantly assess teaching strategies and technology involved with the quality assurance industry to ensure all instruction provided to students is current and relevant in today’s workplace.

A.S. Degree and Certificate of Achievement

Upon successful completion of the required courses, students will earn the Associate in Science Degree or a Certificate of Achievement. For more information, click here.

Courses cover the principles, concepts, and process of quality assurance used in the business world though interactive and hands-on instruction. All Quality Assurance courses have been reviewed and are recommended to complement your major by an industry advisory council. For more information, click here.

Students learn about problems found in maintaining desirable quality levels, as well as the history and development of “quality philosophy” through courses that offer individualized attention and opportunities for class participation. Computer programs with current industry software are also available to students, as well as an introduction into related careers in quality assurance.
