· be able to recognize unlawful behavior and take appropriate enforcement action properly utilizing probable cause as required in the 4th amendment of the US Constitution;
· be able to properly document a criminal investigation by writing a crime report of a simulated crime. The report will include the correct elements of the crime involved, will include the relevant facts, be accurate and complete, and will be grammatically correct;
· successfully earn a certificate/graduate/transfer to 4 year universities and successfully compete for jobs in which they can apply legal, investigative and communicative skills acquired in the administration of justice program;
· be able to correctly interpret a behavioral profile of a criminal offender and identify and explain at least 3 crime causation theories that explain the behavior described in the profile.
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Students completing a course of study in air conditioning and refrigeration will:
· be able to install, service and repair A/C&R systems as required by the industry guidelines;
· be able to properly pressure test, evacuate and charge AC&R systems;

· Students will adhere to safety protocol in the laboratory regarding eye protection. Students will follow the proper procedure regarding wearing goggles in the laboratory, and keeping them on to protect their eyes.

Respiratory Care

Program SLO: Graduates will be able to pass the state license exam to practice respiratory care with 6 months of graduation from the program at a least an 80% success rate.
Sign Language/Interpreter Training

Upon completion of the program students will
· have basic entrance skills for interpreting/transliterating in entry level interpreting settings with individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing;
· demonstrate critical thinking and appropriate ethical responses required by the Code of Professional Conduct;
· will complete the program with a comprehensive portfolio of job seeking tools, such as a resume, DVD’s demonstrating interpreting and transliterating skills, and 42 hours of documented supervised work experience.

Program SLOs:
· Educational Development: Upon completion of one or more Educational Development courses and/or Special Resource Center (SRC) services, a student will be able to show competency to apply requisite student skills in the integrated campus community.
· Test Accommodations: By participating in the SRC, students will develop skills to effectively advocate for educational services to meet their specific needs as evidences by request, utilization, and timeliness of testing accommodations per recommendation.
· Alternate Media Services: By participating in the Special Resource Center, students will develop skills to effectively use alternate media services to meet their unique educational needs as documented by request, utilization, and timeless of service process and product delivery.
· Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services: By participating in the Special Resource Center, students will develop the skills to request and use Deaf or Hard of Hearing services (ASL interpreting, Real-time captioning, Assistive Learning Devices) in a timely, effective and accountable manner.
