THE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Aspiring to meet the needs of El Camino College’s diverse student population, the El Camino College Foundation is pleased to introduce an unprecedented new scholarship program: The Foundation Scholarship Program.

Our commitment is to establish 80 new scholarships and distribute a minimum of $100,000 per year for the next 10 years. The scholarships will not only assist with, but in many cases, fully cover tuition, fees and textbooks. This is what sets The Foundation Scholarship Program apart from any other.

We have established an array of scholarships; some scholarships are discipline specific; some reward academic excellence; some are extended to students from local high schools; some are aimed at earnest students with financial need who do not meet federal or state assistance requirements. All applicants must be on the path for a two-year degree, certificate or a transfer to a four-year institution.

Unquestionably, the Foundation’s generous supporters make The Foundation Scholarship Program possible. 

Your support of Foundation Scholarship Program will enable a growing number of deserving students to achieve their educational goals, whether that means a certificate, a two-year degree or onward to a four-year university. 

Remember that your support addresses not only tuition, but also assistance with textbooks and student fees, thereby assuring students of complete and comprehensive support, as no other program has before. 

Our vision is to not only sustain, but also grow this program to reach a greater number of our students each year.
