Welcome to the Grants Office

The Grants Office provides the campus community with a variety of services related to obtaining and managing externally funded projects awarded by federal, state or local government agencies. We provide resources and assistance to faculty, staff and administrators to foster project ideas, locate funding opportunities, strengthen grant writing and project development capability, develop proposals, and to comply with applicable internal and external approval and compliance requirements.Functions of the Grants office include the following:

• Provide information on funding opportunities
• Proposal and budget development assistance
• Proposal review, sign-off, and transmission
• Grant negotiation and acceptance
• Grant start-up
• Post-award management assistance
• Grant close-out assistance
• Training in various aspects of grantmanship (grant seeking, proposal writing, project management)
• Compliance audits
• Special projects
