Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language
(UISFL) Program
This program provides funds to institutions of higher education,
consortia of such institutions, or partnerships between nonprofit
organizations and institutions of higher education to plan,
develop, and implement programs that strengthen and improve
undergraduate instruction in international studies and foreign
languages.
The goal of the El Camino College UISFL grant is to develop
global competency of ECC students by increasing international
content and international perspectives in college courses and
programs. One of the ways to achieve it is by connecting classes
at ECC with similar classes in other countries via web-based
videoconferencing through a program called Global Education
Through Technology (GETT). |
