Iris has twenty-one years of progressively responsible experience in administrative services within higher education.  After working as a consultant with Deloitte Touche for three years, Iris served for three years as the Vice President of Corporate Planning for United Way in Los Angeles.  She then served as the Chief Operations Officer at UCLA’s School of Public Policy and Social Research before becoming the Assistant Director of UCLA’s Business and Financial Services division.  Iris then joined the University of California, Irvine where she served as the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration for the College of Medicine.   She also spent several years at the California State University Chancellors Office as the Assistant Director for Sponsored Projects Administration.  In 2009, Iris joined the Ventura County Community College District as the Vice President , Business Services at Moorpark College.  She briefly served as the Acting President of Moorpark College while the search for a permanent president was underway.  Most recently, for the past four years Iris has served as the Vice President of Administrative Services at the Los Angeles County Community College District – West Los Angeles College. 

Iris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics at Wellesley College In Wellesley, MA.  She is currently earning an MBA in Finance and Strategy at UCLA, Anderson Graduate School of Management.
