Graduation Intents and Petitions for Certificates must be filed in the Admissions office by the deadline. Late requests will not be considered.

Admissions Office Business Hours
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Have all official transcripts from former college(s) on file at El Camino College. Failure to provide these transcripts can delay your graduation intent and prevent you from graduating in the semester you selected. Please note that the college does not accept hand carry or unofficial transcripts. Official transcripts must be mailed from the former college(s) to El Camino College Admissions and Records Office.
- Complete the form legibly, accurately, and completely. Missing or illegible information will slow the processing of your intent or petition.
- Meet the published deadline as found in the class schedule. If you do not submit your request(s) in the Admissions office by the published deadline, your Intent or Petition will be delayed by a semester.
The graduation ceremony is always held on the last day of the Spring semester at 4 p.m. Degrees for Summer, Fall, and Spring graduates for the current academic year are mailed in October. An academic year consists of Summer, Fall, and Spring terms; for example, Summer 2019, Fall 2019, and Spring 2019.
