HARD WORD AND DEDICATION ON THE FIELD AND IN THE CLASSROOM HELPS STUDENTS MOVE ON
After going 32-15 and winning the first conference championship in 19 years, 11 Warriors from the 2007 team have moved on to 4 year schools or the professional ranks. Shortstop Robi Estrada signed with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and has just completed his first season in the minor leagues. Dane Braunecker, Jeff Mckinley, Brian Ramirez, Alan Gatz, Ross Babinueax and Garret Ozar all received scholarships to continue on at the next level at 4 year schools. Kyle Leamy, Nick Jones, Anthony McCaw and Billy Applegate all have transferred to 4 year schools academically and will try to walk on and play at their respective colleges. In addition to the 11 already in new homes Gilbert Camacho and Derrek Duarte are planning on transferring and playing this spring at 4 year schools as well.
