FOOTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETES MOVE ON
The Warrior football team has had many successful seasons and hundreds of successful student who have transferred on to the next level. This year was no different as the team has recorded twenty-four scholarship offers this season and is still counting. Not only was the team blessed with gifted student-athletes on the field, but those same students were having success in the classroom. 2007 MISSION CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS
El Camino College captured it second mission conference championship in three years as they defeated Fullerton College at Murdock Stadium. The 1987 National Championship members looked on at the Warrior wrapped up the American Conference with a 59-45 win. The Warriors will open the playoffs and defense of their title on November 17th @ Murdock stadium in the American Bowl versus Moorpark College.
FOOTBALL TEAM HONORED BY MISSION CONFERENCE
Head Coach John Featherstone and 16 student-athletes are given 1st and 2nd team All-Conference Honors. Quarterback Boo Jackson and Simi Kuli were named offensive and defensive players of the year. Head Coach John Featherstone was voted American Division Coach of the Year.
