Welcome from the Athletic Director

This is a special year for El Camino College, the Warrior Athletic staff, alumni and the thousand of student-athletes that we have served over our 60 years in Community College athletics.  As we celebrate our diamond anniversary we remember the first football game played in Murdock Stadium in 1946.

El Camino College is proud to offer a wide array of intercollegiate athletic programs.  Over 400 student-athletes compete and excel in the classroom, court, and field as they prepare for transfer to the four-year institution.  Currently twenty-one intercollegiate athletic programs are offered at the college.  Warrior athletics has a strong commitment to sportsmanship, education and preparation.

The athletic staff consists of advocates for the development of student-athletes, their families and the community.  Today's coaching profession is very sophisticated encompassing many different areas.  Coaches utilize a solid base of educational knowledge, personal experience, a repertoire of clinical skills, and teaching and learning principles to enhance the ability of the student-athlete while at El Camino College.

The athletic staff and coaches at El Camino pride themselves in offering a positive experience to the student-athletes that attend our fine institution.  Students will leave our college with the athletic and academic skills needed to succeed on the next level.  Choosing to be part of the Warrior family is one of the best decisions that you can make in your young career.
