The Learning Center is the traditional heart of the Learning Resources Center department.  Here you can ask for information about all LRC resources, services, and facilities.  If you would like to work in the Learning Center or one of the LRC computer labs, inquire at the main desk.

The Learning Center houses an extensive media-materials collection, including audio and video recordings, models, CDs, and other instructional materials for student use in many different subjects taught at the college.

We also house a large collection of Media Materials for Nursing.

Many of these materials are assigned as required or supplementary class activities by instructors.  In addition, students who have had difficulty in their lectures have told us that they find it very helpful to view related LRC video programming.

The Learning Center also houses the LRC Tutorial Program and the Basic Skills Study Center.
