FYE Program Requirements for Spring 2010

• The 2010/2011 FAFSA application will be available beginning January 1^st for renewal. If you are currently receiving financial aid such as (Pell grants, fee waiver, SEOG grant, loans, etc.) you will need to complete a renewal application through the following website: www.fafsa.edu.gov.   The deadline to submit your renewal application is March 2^nd, 2010.
  
  
• The El Camino College scholarship application is due by February 26th, 2010 if you want to be considered for any type of scholarships on campus including the FYE scholarships. Please note: Letters of recommendations will need to be forwarded by mail or dropped off in person to the scholarship office before the above stated deadline.
  
  
• Grades-Please make sure you check your “MyECC” account in mid January and download your fall 2009 transcripts for a review of your current grades. Your college GPA is very important to your success here and should be reviewed at the end of each semester. I have attached a flyer with information on how to calculate your “transferable GPA” because the college does not calculate that for you. Please use your ECC 2009-2010 catalog for a listing of UC/CSU transferable courses to calculate your transferable GPA.
