Job DatabaseClick Here to view Job Database (Available only on El Camino College campus computers) Program SummaryEl Camino College, an educational leader and business partner for over fifty years in the South Bay strongly believes that an essential component of our students' educational experience is the ability to provide practical experience in their chosen field of study. We believe that student employment can provide valuable benefits to both the student and the employer. For example, full-time and part-time work experience affords students the ability to integrate practical hands-on experience with academic theory. Such experiences expose our students to the latest cutting edge technologies in their field and ultimately afford them an opportunity to develop critical networking relationships with industry professionals. As an employer, I'm certain that you fully understand the benefits of having the opportunity to train and educate potential candidates for the workforce. Students who intern and work part-time during school come better prepared to interview, are highly motivated and can reduce time and costs to the employer. Finally, employers benefit from a diverse population of students who have demonstrated their commitment to work. Mission StatementIt's the mission of Student Job Placement Center is to provide a comprehensive array of career, employment and job placement and internship opportunities to all ECC students and alumni who are currently enrolled in at least one semester unit or who have completed a minimum of 15 semester units at ECC. In addition, the Student Job Placement Center strives to establish meaningful partnerships and serves as a liaison between employment seekers, employers, industry, the campus, and the community.
