| In the eerie glow of black light, DIANE SUZUKI'S inflatible plastic tree forms hover, suspended by the humming breath of electric fans. Colored tinsil flickers inside the ghostly copse. When the timer-driven fans stop whirring the trees slump to the floor in a mass of soft folds. Suzuki recreates nature, utilizing materials which are clearly synthetic. The effect produced is one of alternate reality, where the very nature of nature is in question. | ||||
