Eligibility Requirements

Volunteer for participation in CalWORKs through the Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services (DPSS):

Self Initiated Program - Students who are already enrolled in either a degree or certificate program prior to DPSS registration. Requires 32 hours of combined academic and work activity per week unless exempt.

County Referral or Post-Time Limit - Participants who have participated in Job Club, or Job Search and Assessment, or are referred to ECC for education and vocational training in addition to employment.
