ASSESSMENT PLAN

Employers will complete student evaluations during mid-point and at the end of the fall and spring semester in order to identify strengths and areas of improvement for the work study student.

RESULTS/ACTIONS TAKEN

The CalWORKs Program is successfully addressing the goal of students being able to connect their training to job skills. The program has a support system in place to assist the student on employment readiness training, interview preparation, and support for personal issues resulting in the student's success in the workplace. The lowest ranking assessment was in skills and initiative.

  • As a result the CalWORKs program will offer more workshops on soft skills and computer training (Keyboarding, Microsoft Office, Database Management).
