PAUL
GALBRAITH, guitar

Brilliant and breathtaking describe Paul Galbraith's mastery of
classical guitar as he weaves the notes into a tapestry of pure
magic. An extraordinary musician, he brings enormous skill and insight
to show just how gorgeously the guitar can sing in works by such
composers as Debussy, Haydn, Vivaldi and Bach. He won the Silver
Medal at the Segovia International Guitar Competition at age 17.

Opera
A La Carte
Presents Gilbert & Sullivan's
H.M.S. PINAFORE
Sir Joseph Porter, K.C.B., Ralph Rackstraw and Dick Deadeye sing
and dance their way through this classic tale of the Captain's daughter
in a return appearance by Opera A La Carte. With true Gilbertian
logic, roles are switched and all "his sisters and his cousins
and his aunts" fall in and out of love with lugubrious
boatswains, exasperated officers and, of course, Little Buttercup,
who never is as small as her name would imply.
