KARTIK SESHADRI, sitar
ARUP CHATTOPADHYAY, tabla

Foremost disciple of the great Ravi Shankar, Seshadri has brought his artistry to Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and countless major venues. Unfolding other-worldly melodies in the tradition of Indian classical music dating back several thousand years to the chants of Hindu scriptures, this master brings audiences to their feet. "If the power of Indian music seems almost supernatural, then sitar player Kartik Seshadri must be a sorcerer." Oberlin Review.
Campus Theatre $21

Mr. Seshadris performance is supported, in part, by the California Arts Council, a state agency, the Western States Arts Federatiuon and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Celebrating its 20th year of touring throughout the American West, INCA produces sounds that "reach your soul" Albuquerque Tribune.
