This 21-year-old violinist joins the COSB as a last minute substitution for an ill Tamaki Kawakubo.  Born in Sydney, Australia, she is a student at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music studying with Jamie Laredo.  Program to include Mendelssohn's Fingal's Cave Overture; Symphony No. 4 in A Major "Italian" and Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2 in g minor.

Successor to the legendary Hollywood String Quartet, these musicians are premiere performers of their generation in the Hollywood recording industry. An ensemble of studio players, they represent high achievement and lofty artistic ideals.  Program  includes Haydn's Quartet in D Major, Op. 76, No. 5; French's Quartet No. 2 "Communications" and the String Quartet in F Major of Ravel.
