ECC clickers
Clicker models
Batteries
- Batteries for the RF and RF-LCD clickers are 3 volts (3V) CR2032 batteries. You'll need 2 batteries for each clicker, and batteries cost approximately $2 each. The XR clicker uses standard AAA batteries.
Equipment you will need to use clickers
- To use the clickers you will need a computer with the software
installed. Most people also like to project what is on the computer
screen to the audience/class, although that is not necessary.
- If you
don't have a computer or projector or if you wish to use clickers without a computer or projector, that
is possible using the ResponseCard Anywhere (specifications page). We don't have these at ECC yet, but they can be ordered for $99 + tax + shipping.
- Turning Technologies also has the ability to turn any internet-enabled device (computer, cell phone, etc) into a clicker. This is called ResponseWare. Again, this is not currently available at ECC, although if you're interested in pursuing this option, contact me.
