Summer 1981, Travel to Egypt (Cairo, Sakkara, Giza, Luxor, Karnak, Aswan, Abu Simbel), Greece (Athens, Crete, Rhodes, Santorini) and Turkey (Ephesus).
Summer 1992, Travel to Mesa Verde, Colorado., Chaco Canyon, New Mexico., and Sante Fe, New Mexico. Tour of Anasazi Sights.
Summer 1993, Research at Anasazi Sights in Mesa Verde, Colorado. and Sante Fe, New Mexico.
Summer 1995, Travel throughout Europe. Including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Prague, Czech. Republic, as well as research at the major museums in London and Paris.

Spring 1997, Research Sabbatical to Mexico. Travel to major archaeological sights in Mexico and to Museums in Mexico City, as well as to many cities studying colonial architecture. Archaeological sights included: Teotihuacan, Monte Alban, Palenque, Uxmal, Chichen Itza.
Summer 1997, Archaeo-astronomy Field Expedition - Field work and research at Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, Chimney Rock, Colorado, and other Anasazi Sights.
