Below are pictures and illustrations related to the 2005 La Conchita Landslide, and Palos Verdes Peninsula Landslides. The 2005 La Conchita Landslide was the second slide to occur in this area in less than 10 years (the first was in spring, 1995). It caused 10 deaths and 2 serious injuries, 30 homes were lost, and the area experienced a 90% property value decrease.
