Principles of Biology II


Welcome to Biology 102!

This course offers a detailed study of eukaryotic cell anatomy, metabolism, and division, including the study of Mendelian genetics and the molecular genetics of eukaryotes. Prokaryotic cellular stucture (eubacteria and archaea), microbial genetics, and viruses are also studied.

This course is for biology majors. The prerequisites for this course is Chemistry 1A with a minimum grade of C.

This section has been designated for honors students. You do not have to be enrolled in the honors program to take this class. In addition to the regular work required for Bio 102, the honors course will include a series of scientific article reviews.

Office hours: 3:30-5:00 in NATS-110 and Thur 11:00-12:30
