Welcome to my online oceanography classroom. You will
be spending a lot of time on the internet this semester! Your responsibilities
are:

Log onto this website at least once a week, click
on the appropriate weekly assignment, and DO THE ASSIGNED WORK. There
are sixteen weeks this semester, each weekly assignment is due by
midnight Thursday. This is so that you are prepared for the laboratory
exercise on Friday.

You must be available for laboratory exercises on
Fridays between 10:30 and 1:30 pm. The majority of the laboratories
will be conducted on the El Camino College campus, four of the laboratories
will be field trips, and two of the laboratories will be on-line.
Attendance at each laboratory is important and there will be a quiz
at the beginning of each laboratory session.

You will take four exams covering the material in
the textbook. I will schedule flexible exam times during each exam
week.
