President – Mo Hakimi
Mo Hakimi joined Exxon Mobil in 1979 and enjoyed a 34 year career in petroleum refining as well as the Upstream Business in Torrance and Bakersfield, California. Mr. Hakimi is currently working as a project manager for IQA Solutions, an engineering company located in Long Beach, California. In addition to his business experience Mo has been actively involved in community and civic service and has been recognized by the California State Senate, the Bakersfield School District Educational Foundation and the Kern County Board of Supervisors for this exemplary public service and civic contributions. Mr. Hakimi is the current President of the El Camino College Foundation Board of Directors and has played a pivotal role in El Camino’s STEM educational programs. Mo has a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Mo and his wife Sherry reside in Palos Verdes with their two sons Daniel and Michael.
