This is a collection of three databases that offer literary criticism and biographical information about authors: Contemporary Authors, Contemporary Literary Criticism, and the Dictionary of Literary Biography. Articles can be downloaded to disk or printed out for $.10 a page using the copy card.

Literature Online (LION) Reference Edition 
The database provides literary reference and criticism resources particularly to support academic study and research. It includes full-text journal articles, biographical profiles, reference works, and the Modern Humanities Research Association's Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature (ABELL). Information can be downloaded to disk or printed out for $.10 a page using the copy card.

Note regarding print resources: The reference collection has literary criticism on novels, plays, poems and short stories, as well as biographical information about authors past and present. A guide listing these resources is available in the library, and here online.
