The El Camino Schauerman Library:
Periodicals and newspapers are an excellent source for current affairs and current research in your field. Ask for a copy of the library periodical holdings booklet. Periodical titles held by our library are listed alphabetically in the white pages area, and by subject in the yellow pages area. Subject areas of use to you are Political Science, Law, Government, and International Relations.
We also have periodical and newspaper databases online, for example Ebscohost periodicals database, ProQuest newspaper database, Issues & Controversies and CQ Researcher. Ask at the reference desk for assistance and for information on accessing these databases from home.
Internet search tools that we recommend are: Google http://www.google.com/ , and Clusty http://wwwclusty.com/
