The Basic Skills Study Center is located within the Learning Resources Center in the Upper Level, West Wing of the Schauerman Library. It consists of a network of computer workstations that students use to access an individualized computer assisted instruction program in basic reading and basic math. This program, with full reading and math curricula, includes diagnostic testing, evaluation, and monitoring of student progress. To utilize the individualized program, students either register in the Academic Strategies 1abcd course or participate in the non-credit Independent Study Program (ISP).
