Information for Guests

Bookstore

The ECC Bookstore will be open until 7 p.m. Friday, June 8. Stop by and purchase ECC merchandise, last minute graduation gifts, or be ready for summer with textbooks, art supplies and other items you need to succeed.

Commencement Ceremony

The commencement ceremony will be held in Murdock Stadium at 4:00 p.m. Gates will be open at 2:45 p.m. We recommend guests who need elevator access arrive early. Please see the Guests with Disabilities page for more information regarding accessibility.

Directions & Map

Parking

FREE parking is available in the Lot C parking structure on Manhattan Beach Blvd. and the Lot F parking structure located west of the Stadium. After the ceremony concludes, graduates will be released in the plaza between Lot C and the Bookstore building. Please meet your graduate in the plaza. We recommend guests park in Lot C and Lot F because they are the closest parking lots to the plaza where the ceremony concludes. Disabled Persons Parking

Disabled persons parking is available on the lower levels of Lots C and F (plesae note: clearance level of 6'2" in Lot F). You must have your DMV issues Disabled Person (DC) placard to park in designated disabled persons parking stalls. Note that Lot F has a greater number of disabled persons parking than Lot C. See the Guests with Disabilities page for more information regarding accessibility.

Strollers

Strollers are not permitted in the grandstands, however, stroller parking will be available at the southeast corner of the stadium. Please take all personal belongings with you. El Camino College is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Lost and Found

The Stadium Ticketbooth will be used as a lost and found area during the commencement ceremony. The Ticketbooth is located on the exterior of the Stadium by the southeast exit. After the ceremony, items that have not been retrieved will be sent to the El Camino College Police Department. The Police Department is located on the corner of Crenshaw Blvd. and Redondo Beach Blvd. Please call (310) 660-3100 if you have an inquiry.

Weather

The El Camino College Commencement Ceremonies will occur rain or shine.

Photos and Video at the Ceremony

Family members and friends of graduates may take photographs or video from their seat location in the audience. A professional photographer will photograph each graduate as the diploma covers are presented.  

Commencement Live Stream

Livestream video will be available for friends and family who can't make it to the stadium via this link: www.elcamino.edu/livestream. The broadcast begins at 3:45 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 4 p.m. The video will also be available for online viewing after the ceremony at www.elcamino.edu/livestream through July 5, 2018.
