Virtual Services: Nurse Practitioner Consultation & Mental Health "Check-Ins"

Student Health Services is offering drop-in Nurse Practitioner consultation hours and drop-in mental health “check-ins” to currently enrolled El Camino College students who have paid their student health fee for the spring 2020 semester.

The primary goals are to ensure safety, direct students to local resources, and to provide one-time check-in sessions, with a focus on overall wellness during this unprecedented time.

After completing the consent form(s), please allow 24 hours (but often much sooner!) to receive a web link via email to the online virtual offices. If there are any connectivity issues, please email

On behalf of Student Health Services (SHS), we would like to welcome you and provide a brief introduction to who we are and what we do. Our goal is that students will utilize medical services, workshops and community outreach programs sponsored by the SHS throughout the academic calendar year to help maintain optimum mental and physical wellness. Student Health Services are solely supported by your student health fee.

Our minds and bodies work in unison. Physical and psychological health go hand in hand. When our bodies hurt, it impacts our mood and sense of well-being. When the stress gets to be too much for us to handle, and we become overwhelmed with anxiety and/or depression, we are more vulnerable to becoming physically ill. At Student Health Services, you will find an integrated approach to health care, where the whole person is evaluated and treated.

The Student Health Fee of $21 per Spring and Fall 2020 semesters and $18 per summer session covers most services at ECC's Student Health Services, with no need for insurance or a co-pay. Student Health Services are closed on weekends, college holidays, and during semester breaks.
