Student Development Office Staff Information

The Student Development Office staff are available to assist El Camino College students and members of the community. Please see each staff member’s duties and email addresses to assist you with directing your question or concern. Delmyn D. Conchas Rocha, Interim Student Services Technician (part-time)

  • Schedules reservations for the Student Activities Center building and Library Lawn on behalf of clubs
  • Reserves rooms for student club meetings and activities
  • Verifies and maintains eligibility requirements of club presidents, ICC representatives and club advisers
  • Processes Petition to the Inter-Club Council to Become an ECC Club and Notice to Reactivate a Club forms
  • Manages the Student Development Office, Photo ID and club webpages

Karin Baluyot, Interim Student Services Technician (part-time)

  • Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records (e.g. check request, cash request, contracts, blanket purchase orders)
  • Submits requisitions on behalf of the ASO, ICC and student clubs
  • Authenticates account balances for ASO, ICC and student club treasurers
  • Assists with front desk duties and provides student event support

Lawrence A. Moreno,  ASB Promotions Specialist (part-time)

  • Manages Auxiliary Service Benefits (ASB): events, discount vendors, promotions, web pages, etc.
  • Manages amusement parks/attraction tickets (sold at the Marsee Ticket window)
  • Monitors and approves school flyer postings

Erica Soohoo, Interim Clerical Assistant (part-time)

  • Verifies and maintains eligibility requirements of the Associated Student Organization (ASO), and the Inter-Club Council (ICC)
  • Schedules reservations of the Student Activities Center building and Library Lawn on behalf of departments
  • Serves as liason between external organizations and El Camino departments regarding Free Speech
  • Manages the Metro U-Pass, Warrior Pantry, ASO and ICC Webpages

Melissa Underwood, Clerical Assistant/Clerk (part-time)

  • Staffs the department's front desk and provides general assistance to customers
  • Assists free speech organizations

Richard "Rick" Woods, Photo ID Technician (part-time)

  • Operates the photo ID machine
  • Prints El Camino College ID cards
