ATTENTION FALL 2019 CSU APPLICANTS:

UPDATE YOUR CAL STATE APPLY APPLICATION: After applying to the CSU for Fall 2019, transfer applicants are required to update their academic information by going to Cal State Apply by January 31, 2019. Login to Cal State Apply at https://calstate.liaisoncas.com/applicant-ux/#/login.

The following CSU’s require Fall 2019 transfer applicants to submit a supplemental application:

---The CSULB Transfer Supplemental Application is due February 1, 2019. To complete the supplemental application go to:
www.csulb.edu/admissions/supplemental-application.

---The SDSU supplemental application deadline is January 22, 2019, which is available on the SDSU Web Portal at: https://sunspot.sdsu.edu/pls/webapp/web_menu.login/.

---The SJSU Transfer Supplemental Application is due late January. Check your MySJSU “To Do List” for the exact date. Reference the following link: http://www.sjsu.edu/admissions/impaction/supplementalapp/.

---The Cal Poly SLO supplemental application will be available on your MyCalPoly portal in January. Instructions for completing the supplemental application will be emailed to you in early January.

ATTENTION FALL 2019 UC APPLICANTS:


SUBMIT YOUR TRANSFER ACADEMIC UPDATE: Students who applied to a UC for Fall 2019 are required to submit the Transfer Application Update by January 31, 2019. To complete the Application Update login to your UC application at: https://admissions.universityofcalifornia.edu/applicant/login.htm

***Make sure to attend a Fall 2019 UC Application Update Assistance Open Lab.

FALL 2019 LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY (LMU) APPLICANTS:

To apply for admission to LMU for Fall 2019 complete and submit the Common Application at www.commonapp.org (OR) the LMU online application at https://engage.lmu.edu/apply/.

Deadlines for Transfer Applicants:

November 1, 2018 – Early Priority admission and TAG deadline for Fall 2019

March 15, 2019 – Regular admission decision deadline for Fall 2019

FALL 2019 USC APPLICANTS:

Students applying for admission to the 2019-2020 academic year are required to submit the Common Application and the USC Writing Supplement, both of which can be accessed at: www.commonapp.org.

---USC application deadline is February 1, 2019.

Please be aware the following majors/programs have a December 1, 2018 application deadline:

  • Writing for Screen and Television in the School of Cinematic Arts; all programs in the School of Dramatic Arts; Kaufman School of Dance and the Thornton School of Music

ATTENTION AA-T/AS-T OR AA/AS DEGREE APPLICANTS:


---Transfer students who are completing the requirements for an AA-T/AS-T degree (or an AA/AS degree) during the spring 2019 semester should file the Intent to Graduate form between January 2, 2019 - March 1, 2019 in the Admissions Office. 

***Due to the CSU verification process for AA-T/AS-T applicants, you are highly encouraged to submit the Intent to Graduate form (yellow form) in early January



The 2019-2020 FAFSA and California Dream Act Application is here! It will be available starting October 1, 2018. Apply Early!!!

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act application (if you are an AB540 student) is the first step toward applying and getting federal aid for college. The FAFSA priority deadline for the 2019-2020 academic year is March 2, 2019.

***Please make sure to list all UC, CSU, and Private/Out-of-State institutions for which you are planning to apply.

Need to see a Transfer Counselor? The Transfer Center has walk-in hours


Meet with a Transfer Counselor on a first-come, first-serve basis. Counseling is limited to ten minutes. During walk-in hours you will be able to ask quick transfer related questions, ask questions about the UC Personal Insight Questions; discuss TAG basic requirements and review AA-T/AS-T "Intent to Graduate" petitions (students with ECC transcripts only).
