STUDENT GOVERNMENT

The Associated Students Organization (ASO) is governed by an all-student senate that is elected in the spring. Each academic division is represented by two senators and a division  council. A number of committees and sub-committees are created to conduct research, special projects and other activities to benefit students at El Camino College. The primary focus of the ASO Senate is to represent students on local and statewide issues affecting them and the school in goverance or budget issues. The key responsibility of the Division Council is to create activities designed to serve students in specific academic disciplines. The Student Government is completely funded by The Auxiliary Services Benefits (ASB). Click to see your current executive officers.
