DIRECTOR'S WELCOME

We offer a variety of high quality programs to fit the needs of the busy parent.  In addition to our fee-based program, we have a state preschool program which is free to qualifying parents.  We serve children of student parents attending El Camino College as well as children from the ECC staff and the community.  We also have a partnership with Los Angeles County Office of Education which allows one of our classrooms to be an inclusion class serving deaf and hard-of-hearing children.  In addition, we serve as an observational site for El Camino College's early childhood education, nursing, and other programs.

We are committed to meeting the needs of our youngest citizens and their families.  We are one of few programs within the Torrance area which is accredited by the National Assoc. for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  Using the latest techniques and theories in planning a developmentally appropriate curriculum is one of the criteria for a high quality program.  We invite you to visit and become acquainted with our exceptional educational team.
