COUNSELING APPOINTMENTS

**ATTENTION STUDENTS***
The Counseling Appointment Center number has changed.

Individual counseling appointments are available for the following students:

  • Continuing Students (currently attending classes)
  • Returning Students (did not attend ECC last semester)
  • Transfer Students (transferring to ECC from another college or university)
  • New College Students who have completed the Online Orientation and printed their Completion of Online Orientation Confirmation Page.

A student who has selected a major field of study is strongly encouraged to see one of the counselors assigned to that field, while undeclared students may see any counselor.

The Counseling office opens Monday through Thursday at 9:00 a.m.  We have limited appointments Monday through Thursday beginning at 7:30 a.m.  Appointment scheduling is done on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in person and between 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. over the phone.  If you are calling to schedule an appointment, please be patient, as we have a very high volume of callers and calls are subject to being dropped/disconnected.

NEW COLLEGE STUDENTS: Small group appointments are available for new college students through the New Student Matriculation Groups.

Student Enhancement Workshops are designed to help students identify obstacles to academic achievement and ways to overcome them. The sessions focus on improving college survival skills, setting realistic goals, reviewing college resources available, providing an overview of study techniques, and more.   Students placed on academic probation and progress probation are strongly encouraged to attend.  You can check workshop schedules and make an appointments at the Counseling Appointment Center.

Appointments may be made for individual counseling, new student groups and student enhancement workshops.  Check the Counseling home page for the most up-to-date hours of operation.

Express Counseling is available for students who have general questions or who need a prerequisite clearance to enroll in a class.

The Express Counseling schedule is subject to change, depending on counselor availability.
