Students interested in applying to USC for admission to the 2017-2018 academic year are required to submit the Common Application and the USC Writing Supplement, both of which can be accessed at:

Application deadline is February 1, 2017.

Please be aware the following
majors/programs have a December 1, 2016 application deadline:
  • Writing for Screen and Television in the School of Cinematic Arts
  • B.F.A. programs in the School of Dramatic Arts
  • Kaufman School of Dance and Thornton School of Music

The 2017-2018 FAFSA and California Dream Act Application

is here and earlier than ever! It will be available starting October 1, 2016. Apply Early!   

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act application (if you are an AB540 student) is the first step toward applying and getting federal aid for college. The FAFSA priority deadline for the 2017-2018 academic year is March 2, 2017.
**Please make sure to list all UC, CSU, and Private/Out-of-State institutions for which you are planning to apply.

The 2017-2018 IRS Data Retrieval Tool (IRS DRT) is now available. If you filled out the 2016-2017 FAFSA, you will use your 2015 tax info again for the 2017-2018 FAFSA. That means you can use the IRS DRT right away!

Need to see a Transfer Counselor? The Transfer Center has walk-in hours

Meet with a Transfer Counselor on a first-come, first-serve basis. Counseling is limited to ten minutes. During walk-in hours you will be able to ask quick transfer related questions, ask questions about the UC Personal Insight Questions; discuss TAG basic requirements and review AA-T/AS-T "Intent to Graduate" petitions (students with ECC transcripts only).
