ATTENTION SPRING 2016 ASSOCIATE DEGREE APPLICANTS:

 

Transfer students who intend to earn an AA/AS or AA-T/AS-T degree should file the Intent to Graduate form by Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the Admissions Office.  


**Please note AA-T / AS-T applicants should submit their Intent to Graduate form ASAP! Please see a counselor to determine if you are eligible for an Associates Degree in Transfer. 

                                      



NORTHERN CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY TOUR:


Join us for a fun-filled academic tour to the following Northern California Universities: UC Merced, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis. If you are interested in attending the Northern Cal University Tour you should pick up an application in the Transfer Center (located in the Student Services Center, 1st floor in the Counseling Department) OR

APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID NOW!!!

 

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act application (if you are an AB540 student) is the first step toward applying and getting federal aid for college.

The FAFSA priority deadline for the 2015-2016 academic year is March 2, 2016. To begin your FAFSA application, go to 
https://fafsa.ed.gov/

To apply for a Cal Grant, the 2015-2016 Dream Act Application is due by March 2, 2016. To begin your California Dream Act application or for more information about the types of financial aid Dream Act students can access, please see the California Student Aid Commission's website at  www.csac.ca.gov/dream_act.asp

ATTENTION LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY (LMU) FALL 2016 TRANSFER APPLICANTS:


February 1, 2016 was the Early Priority deadline for transfer students applying for Fall 2016 (Applications completed by this date will receive a response by March 1).

March 15, 2016 -- Priority Deadline for Fall 2016 admission —(Applications received after these priority dates will be considered on a space-available basis)

To apply, fill out the Common Application at: www.commonapp.org (OR) submit the LMU online application by creating a MyPaw account at admission.lmu.edu/apply/. Once you log into MyPaw, click on “Apply Now” to begin your application. You must also submit the LMU Common Application Supplement.



Need to see a Transfer Counselor? The Transfer Center has walk-in hours (Spring 2016)

Meet with a Transfer Counselor on a first-come, first-serve basis. Counseling is limited to ten minutes. During walk-in hours you will be able to ask quick transfer related questions, ask questions about the Personal Statement; discuss TAG basic requirements and review AA-T/AS-T "Intent to Graduate" petitions (students with ECC transcripts only).
