It's the mission goal of the Office of the Career Placement Services to provide a comprehensive array of career, employment and job placement opportunities to all El Camino College students and alumni and be one of your hiring sources. Our students are diverse in their skill levels. Some students are just beginning their education and others have advanced skills and knowledge and they are ready to meet their career potential. Our job database is available on all campus computers for viewing and printing of all current job listings. Listings are also posted on our job board located outside our office in the Student Services Center, 2nd floor room 204. We accept all listings from part-time, full-time, holiday staffing, long and short term employment.
Our Services:
- Job Listings in our job program and a copy of your job opening (s) will be sent to the department or program relevant to the occupation
(the position must guarantee a salary of at least minimum wage or more to be eligible for this service)
- Job Posting on the CPS job bulletin board (4 weeks)
- Literature stands to display and distribute flyers
- Participation in the Annual Career Expo (registration & fee required)
- Participation on-campus job fairs
- On-campus recruitment meetings to interview with students on an one-to-one basis
- Customized job recruitment and interview sessions tailored to your employment needs
- Involvement with workshops or speaking engagements
